President’s Message: December 2024

To the ACEC Florida Community,

Holiday Greetings from Sarasota, Florida, to all my friends and colleagues in ACEC Florida and the Florida Engineering Society.  At this time of year (mid-December), it seems as though the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 comes at us so quickly that it can be overwhelming.

From a business perspective, many of us are working hard to finish the year strong and looking forward to another successful year for our employees, clients, and the public we serve through our work in the built environment.   I am humbled to be in this profession and have the opportunity to work with so many others through ACEC Florida.  Please know that ACEC Florida and ACEC National (both full-time staff and volunteers) continue the important work and mission of ACEC (to be the business voice of engineering at the state and national level) as we put a bow on 2024 and look forward to many opportunities and challenges in 2025.

May your holiday season be filled with time for family, friends, and reflections on the many blessings each one has.  Have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season, and I look forward to working together with each of you in 2025.  And if you get a minute, drop a note to any of the wonderful staff at ACEC Florida/FES, who do an amazing job of helping our societies fulfill our goals and mission.
